When serial killer Charles Lee Ray is gunned down by police while fleeing into a toy store, he uses a voodoo ritual to transfer his soul into a doll. The doll soon ends up in the hands of six-year-old Andy, who is thrilled with his mother’s gift—until people around him start dying.

Andy insists the doll is alive and responsible for the murders, but no one believes him. As the body count rises, it becomes clear that Chucky has a terrifying plan—and Andy himself is in grave danger, as the killer doll will stop at nothing to take over his body.
