When Kent discovers an old clown costume in the attic, he uses it to save his son’s birthday party. But once the children leave, Kent discovers a terrifying problem: the costume will not come off.

What begins as a joke quickly turns into a hellish nightmare. Kent feels himself changing, and his desperate attempts to free himself from the costume end in unbearable pain. As the suit takes possession of his body, he undergoes a brutal and agonizing transformation.

The evil has also taken hold of his mind, awakening an insatiable hunger—for children.

Director Jon Watts and co-writer Christopher Ford, the creative team behind the Spider-Man trilogy starring Tom Holland and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, make their horror debut with practical, handcrafted gore effects rather than digital effects. Watts also contributed to the story and production of Final Destination: Bloodlines.
