Romina Power (in one of her earliest roles) stars as Justine, a young woman cast out of a French orphanage and forced to navigate a corrupt and morally treacherous society. Along her journey she encounters manipulative aristocrats, dangerous criminals, and a sadistic clergyman (played with theatrical intensity by Jack Palance), in a story that explores power, exploitation, and innocence under siege.

Directed by cult provocateur Jess Franco (99 Women), Justine is a visually extravagant and deeply transgressive period drama featuring an international cast that includes Mercedes McCambridge, Akim Tamiroff (Touch of Evil), Maria Rohm (Eugenie), Klaus Kinski (Nosferatu), and Jack Palance as the Marquis de Sade.
