Synopsis:
Hollywood tough guy Dan Duryea plays against type as an innocent man on the run in post-war London in this early British noir from Hammer. Directed by B-movie specialist Montgomery Tully and written by prolific pulp crime author Steve Fisher, 36 Hours—along with its U.S. version Terror Street—has been meticulously restored in 4K from original film elements.
USAF Major Bill Rogers returns to London after more than a year overseas, only to discover his wife has left their apartment. Tracing her to an upscale West End residence, he drinks heavily and awakens to a nightmare—his wife has been murdered, and the weapon used is his own gun. With the evidence stacked against him, he becomes a fugitive in a city closing in.
