Synopsis:
Hollywood tough guy Dan Duryea plays against type as an innocent man on the run in post-war London in this early British noir from Hammer. USAF Major Bill Rogers returns to London after more than a year overseas, only to discover his wife has left their apartment. Tracing her to an upscale West End residence, he drinks heavily and awakens to a nightmare—his wife has been murdered, and the weapon used is his own gun. With the evidence stacked against him, he becomes a fugitive in a city closing in.
