Anthropophagous 4K UHD (Severin)

THE NORTH AMERICAN UHD PREMIERE

TWO DISC COLLECTION WITH THE ORIGINAL & EXTENDED ITALIAN VERSIONS AND ALL-NEW SPECIAL FEATURES

Those with intestinal fortitude know it's "truly jaw-dropping" (Bloody Disgusting), "surprisingly thrilling" (Confluence of Cult) and "a must-see gut-muncher" (DVD Talk). It was condemned as a Video Nasty and accused of being an actual snuff film. Yet even by '80s Italian gore-spewing standards, this grueling shocker from sleaze maestro Joe D'Amato (BEYOND THE DARKNESS, EMANUELLE IN AMERICA) still stands as perhaps the most controversial - and extreme - spaghetti splatter epic of them all, now in UHD for the first time ever in North America. Tisa Farrow (ZOMBIE), Zora Kerova (CANNIBAL FEROX) and co-writer/producer George Eastman/Luigi Montefiori (THE GREAT ALLIGATOR, ABSURD) star in this depraved daddy of cannibal carnage from "Italy's King of Trash Sinema" (Horrorpedia) in both its original theatrical and extended Italian version - which incorporates a never-before-seen sequence obtained through Rome underworld contacts - all scanned in 4K from the original camera negative with Special Features that include a new archival interview with D'Amato.
