Synopsis

The 'Burbs stars Tom Hanks as Ray Peterson, a suburbanite hoping for a quiet vacation at home—until a mysterious new family moves in next door.

As strange occurrences begin to unfold, Ray and his neighbors launch their own investigation, much to the frustration of his wife (Carrie Fisher). What starts as curiosity quickly spirals into paranoia in a neighborhood that proves to be anything but ordinary.

Blending sharp comedy with eerie mystery, the film is directed by cult favorite Joe Dante (Piranha, Gremlins, Matinee, The Howling).
