Directed by Quentin Lawrence, this 1965 Hammer production stars Barbara Shelley, Jack Hedley, Patrick Wymark, Charles Tingwell, Lee Montague, and Michael Ripper. It trades Hammer’s trademark Gothic horror for a tense mix of wartime drama, espionage, and adventure.
